DepoFoam delivery provides either local site or systemic delivery, and can be administered by a number of routes. These include under the skin, within muscle tissue, intraocular, into spinal fluid, joints and the abdominal cavity.

Depofoam technology has been successfully used to improve medication delivery for products which are currently registered in a number of territories including the United States, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, and South America (DepoCyt^®
DepoCyte^® and DepoDur^®). We continue to expand our registration efforts worldwide for our current and emerging products.

Delivering with DepoFoam addresses the challenges associated with traditional injectable medications through a technology platform that:

Releases over desired period of time, from 1 to 30 days
Ready-to-use aqueous suspension
- works with narrow gauge needles and pen systems (27–31 gauge)
Utilizes components that are natural, well tolerated, and cleared by normal pathways
Is less than 3% lipid and is biodegradeable and biocompatible
